A FIRE-DAMAGED farmhouse in Ayrshire has fetched a six-figure sum at an online auction, it's been revealed.
Laighpark Farm near Coylton, and the surrounding land, went under the virtual hammer at Auction House Scotland’s event on Tuesday, November 21.
The building offers development potential with a number of options, including another farmhouse, multiple dwellings, serviced accommodation and more.
The substantial development plot extends to approximately 2.5 acres and comprises a derelict farmhouse, various outbuildings and a former stable.

A number of the outbuildings have been affected by fire damage.
Laighpark enjoys a semi-rural location close to Coylton, near the South and East Ayrshire boundary, with nearby shops and amenities just a 10-minute walk away.
The plot is five miles east of Ayr and just over six miles from the popular seafront, where people from across Scotland flock to in the summer months.
Online bidding closed at 1pm on Tuesday, November 21.
With a minimum opening bid of £100,000, the farmhouse was eventually sold for £153,000.
