An entertaining, family-friendly circus is continuing its Ayr tour.

Zippos Circus, Scotland’s favourite circus, has been back in Ayr at Low Green since Wednesday, July 9, and will continue to Sunday, August 13.

The show features an international cast of talented circus performers guaranteed to entertain the whole family.

The Scottish tour kicked off in Victoria Park, Glasgow, and has been wandering to Elgin before heading to Peterhead, Banff, Inverurie, Stonehaven, Arbroath and Kirkintilloch, culminating in Ayr.

Zippos Circus founder, Martin Burton, said: “The show celebrates the circuses' nomadic way of life. For centuries, generations of artists have wandered from town to town to entertain and enthral people.”

Headlining the show are the Temujin Troupe – special guests from the Mongolian Steppes.

They perform hand voltage, skipping and aerial acts. Mongolia is one of the last places where a nomadic culture is the norm with nearly half of the country's population living this lifestyle.

The Nomads show also has acts returning by popular demand including the legendary motorbike Globe of Death from Brazil.
