A takeaway place that was devastated by the recent fire at Troon train station has plans to reopen from next week.

Scran at the Hanger, formerly Scran at the Station, will reopen on Tuesday, August 3 from a new location at Bravo Freight Centre, Prestwick.

The eatery, run by Pamela Main and son, Kyle, had its challenges during lockdown.

But nothing compared to the devastating effects of the fire at Troon station earlier this month.

Now the takeaway will have a new home in Prestwick, where they will reopen for collections and deliveries.

The opportunity came thanks to Michelle Morrison at Tastebudz who kindly offered to let them use the premises so they could keep the SCRAN dream alive.

They now also have a new number in place which is 07594882705.
