Blockbuster wrestling lineup returns to Ayr next month

It will bring another night of action-packed, family-friendly entertainment featuring some of Scotland's biggest wrestling stars, local Ayrshire talent, and familiar faces from both WWE and Hollywood.

The event on Friday, August 14 will shine a spotlight on some of Ayrshire's own homegrown wrestling talent, including Dylan Thorn, Brody Turnbull, Jake Lawless, and Hera, all of whom have established themselves as rising stars on the Scottish wrestling scene.

Former ICW World Tag Team Champion Brody Turnbull (real name Scott Anderson), from Ayrshire, has represented one of the UK's leading independent wrestling promotions around the world and also competed at Scotland's Strongest Man 2025.

He will appear alongside fellow Ayrshire wrestler Jake Lawless (real name Robbie Gillespie) as the fan-favourite tag team Arcade Violence.

Also appearing is Hera, an elite powerlifter and professional wrestler who is the current BPU Under 75kg British Champion.

Hera claimed two gold medals at the BPU British Single Lift Championships during the UK Arnold Sports Festival in 2025 and previously finished runner-up at the IPL Powerlifting Championships in Las Vegas.

Fans will also have the opportunity to see former WWE NXT UK superstar Kenny Williams in action.

One of Scotland's most accomplished professional wrestlers, Williams enjoyed a successful spell with WWE before returning to the independent scene, where he remains one of the country's biggest names.

Adding even more star power to the evening is actor Richard Summers-Calvert, who wrestles under the name Charles Crowley.

Alongside his wrestling career, he has appeared in Marvel productions like Fantastic Four, BBC dramas including EastEnders and Suspect, and has voiced characters in major video game franchises including Warhammer: Total War III, Skull and Bones, and Elite Dangerous.
