Into women's rugby and it was a superb weekend for Ayr as they earned a battling victory away to Greenock Wanderers in West Division One.
The Millbrae side were 36-31 winners in Inverclyde with the result lifting Ayr above their opponents and into third place in the league standings.
In West Division Two, Marr missed out in an all Ayrshire affair as Irvine RFC earned a 54-41 victory in a high scoring affair.
In West Division Three, Carrick picked up a victory over Greenock Wanderers Wasps after their opponents were unable to field a team for the fixture.
