AYR United will take on League Two side Peterhead in the fourth round of the SPFL Trust Trophy.
The Honest Men edged out Raith Rovers at the weekend to set up the tie with The Blue Toon, which will be played on the weekend of October 12/13.
Manager Scott Brown says he is expecting a tough game from the visitors following a strong start to the season.
He told Ayr's social media: "They've had a good start to the season so it's going to be a hard game for us but the main thing is that we were in the next draw and we want to be in the draw again afterwards.
"I like to win every game, I like to be competitive every game. We'll try and make as many changes as much as we can throughout the season, keep everyone fresh and ticking over.
"This might be an opportunity for people that haven't played as many minutes but at the same time we want to continue the momentum that we've got going forward."
