Ayr United have banned a fan from their Somerset Road home following incidents during last weekend's clash with Airdrie.
The club released a statement on Friday night to say that the individual has been banned from the stadium for a period of time.
The Honest Men went on to say that the behaviour of some supporters during the match caused "serious safety implications" for others in the Somerset Road End.
A club spokesperson said: "The club can confirm that an individual involved in the activation of pyrotechnic devices at last Friday’s match has been banned from Somerset Park for a period of time.
"This time period will reduce if the individual engages with club officials to discuss how this behaviour is impacting fellow supporters.
"Ayr United cannot condone the behaviour of a minority of supporters on Friday, which caused serious safety implications for fellow fans in the Somerset Road End."
