Ayr wrestling star Drew McIntyre has the chance to take back the world heavyweight title at the upcoming WWE Clash of the Castle in Glasgow.

The Scottish Warrior will have the chance to put down current world heavyweight champion, Damian Priest, and take back the title he briefly held, for five minutes, at WrestleMania XL.

Clash At The Castle will be the first ever WWE Premium Live Event to take place in Scotland, broadcast live from the city's OVO Hydro to 165 countries around the world.

In 2022, Clash At The Castle came to Cardiff as WWE’s first major UK stadium event in 30 years.

The show attracted over 62,000 people to buy tickets, with over three quarters of the audience coming from outside Wales.

WWE Clash at the Castle will stream live on Saturday, June 15 at 7pm on the WWE Network.

The former Prestwick Academy pupil has been pursuing a career in professional wrestling since the age of 15, and also has a master's degree in criminology from Glasgow Caledonian University.
