Ayr Storm A picked up a 73-30 win over Ayr Storm B in the Strathclyde League at the weekend.

The two U-14’s sides came face-to-face at the weekend for an all storm affair, as the A side got out the traps quickest in the first quarter.

The duo of Yasin Delgado and Andrew Young were particularly effective on the break, chipping in with 10 points each.

Brandon Sorrie managed to score two baskets for the B-side, however Storm A held a convincing 30-4 lead at the end of the first period.

Storm B were able to get a better foothold in the match during the second period, as Harry Fishburn chipped in with four points for the B-team with nice moves to the basket.

The A-side then racked up 17 points in the third quarter, spread evenly among five different players.

The final period was an evenly contested quarter, as Storm A forward Joshua Baird scored four of his season high six points.

Meanwhile, B’s Sorrie also chipped in with four points.
