Whitletts Victoria manager George Greirson praised his side for sharing the goals across the team, as they won 7-4 against Bellshill at the weekend.

Goals from Jamie Henderson, Scott Dempster, Jordan Baird, Isaac Kerr, Stuart Hannah and a double from Louis Kerr gave the Vic’s the away win in the Conference A match.

It was a crazy game, with the weather conditions at Rockburn Park playing a big factor.

Speaking to the Advertiser, Grierson said: “It was touch and go before the game if it would go on with the condition of the pitch. The park was really heavy right down the middle.

“So, we knew there was going to be mistakes on that park and I think it kind of reflects on the score.

“The goals are shared. Even at the weekend our captain Jordan Boyd was missing and he has scored in nine of the last 10 games.

“So, to be missing him and still score seven, with all the goals shared was really pleasing.

“We score a lot of goals from set plays as well.

“Louis Kerr’s delivery is excellent and Isaac Kerr is a centre half who is chipping in with some amount of goals this season.”
