GLEN KAMARA insists his focus is on his football and not his future as Steven Gerrard looks to tie him down on a long-term Rangers deal.
The midfielder has produced a string of superb showings for the Gers this season and will surely come onto the radar of clubs in England and abroad over the next few months.
Gerrard spent just £50,000 to bring Kamara to Ibrox from Dundee and is eager to reward him with an extension to his contract sooner rather than later.
"I’m just focused on playing for Rangers and doing well for the team," Kamara said when asked if there had been any progress on his contract talks. "Hopefully I can carry on doing well.
"It’s definitely nice to hear [that the manager wants me to get a new deal]. He’s a big manager and I’m always delighted to have that kind of praise but I’m focused on my football and whatever happens from there happens."
