Ayrshire Paralympic star, Kayleigh Haggo, made history on Sunday by setting a new world record at a Scottish Athletics event.

The 21-year-old smashed her previous personal best by clocking 37.75s in the Race Running 2 200m event.

Kayleigh, who is from Maybole, has a form of cerebral palsy and has established herself as a sports superstar after winning three golds in the European Paralympic Youth Games, as well as setting numerous world records not just in athletics but also in swimming.

Her eventual dream is to compete in the Paralympic Games.
