SIX-time Paul Foster saw his hopes of winning a sixth World Indoor Championships title were shattered today.
They went into a tie break after the game was deadlocked at one set all.
However Royal played a great final end and sealed victory in the tiebreak.
Defeat came two days after Foster and longtime partner Alex Marshall lost to Nick Brett and Greg Harlow in the pairs final. Brett and Harlow won 10-6, 6-8, 2-1.
