GOLFERS of all ages are being urged to sign up for this year’s Ayr Golf Week!
Hundreds of competitors from across the UK are expected to take part in the tournament which runs at Belleisle and Seafield Golf Courses from Monday until Sunday, June 9.
Ayr Golf Week gives those taking part the opportunity to play on quality parkland courses for historic trophies and generous prizes.
Last minute registrations are still being accepted but places are filling up fast so South Ayrshire Council is encouraging people to register now to avoid disappointment.
This is a great sporting event with 10 competitions — the successful Robert Burns Trophy is back again for 2019 complementing the more established Tam o’Shanter and Handyside tournaments.
Young golfers will appreciate the return of the Golf South Ayrshire Junior Open. This free competition will count toward the 2019 Ayrshire Junior Order of Merit, so it’s well worth taking part.
There are 10 competitions across the week, including the showcase Tam o' Shanter and Handyside Tournament with a total prize fund of £5,000. Long-standing favourites including the Stableford Competition, the Open Mixed Foursomes, Ladies Tri-am, and the Ladies Open Greensomes are back again this year.
