DETERMINED Girvan FC skipper Scott Dinwoodie says his side must start picking up wins, despite preserving their unbeaten status in the Super Premier Division.
They held former champions Pollok, drawing 2-2 at Newlandsfield Park in a thrilling match on Saturday. It was their third draw in a row following stalemates against Arthurlie and Kilbirnie Ladeside.
The visitors were leading 2-1 until 'Lok fired a late leveller.
He said: "I must admit Pollok battered us in the first half. They scored really early and missed quite a few chances. But we scored just after the break and hit a second begirebthey came back with a late goal.
"We made it really difficult and Pollok knew they were in a game. It's a tough place to go and I don't think many teams will pick up points there."
He added: "The good thing is we are unbeaten and giving teams a tough time. Bit we have to start winning some games. Our aim is consolidation."
Assistant manager Chris Flanagan added: "I was delighted to get a point as we had only 12 fit players. We lost an early goal and were on the back foot for most of the first half with Scott Johnstone making a couple of crucial saves to keep us in the game. Girvan on Saturday head to Abbey Park to face a Kilwinning Rangers side who have won two and lost two of their opening four games.
Dinwoodie added : "It will be difficult as they have a lot of pace in their team. But we must go there and look to win the game."
