LEVEL-headed Marr Rugby Club president Kevin Quinn is refusing to indulge in any talk of a title challenge for his team despite a superb home win taking them into third spot and just five off the top in RBS Championship A.
Last season’s RBS West One champions and RSB Shield victors defeated the south side of Glasgow team 22-9 in a nailbiter to chalk up their 11th win from 12 games and considerably dent their opponents’ promotion dreams.
They are now in third spot, just five points behind leaders Cartha Queens Park and four adrift of Falkirk in a very tight league and Quinn admits they are making other teams sit up and take notice although will not get carried away.
