A LEGENDARY rocker is set to play Edinburgh Castle next summer.
Paul Weller, known as the “modfather” for his string of hits with The Jam through the 1970s and 1980s, announced the gig on his social media on Tuesday.
Weller also found success with The Style Council in the 1980s before launching a solo career in the 1990s.
He is set to play Edinburgh Castle on Saturday July 13, 2024.
On Instagram, Weller’s team wrote: “EDINBURGH CASTLE, Paul is heading your way!
“We're very excited to reveal that Paul is heading back to @edinburghcastle to perform on the 13th of July 2024.
“Pre-sale tickets will be available from Wednesday 25 October (9am BST).
“General on-sale tickets will be available from Friday 27 October (9am BST).”
Weller previously played a show at Edinburgh Castle in July 2019.
The “Going Underground” singer played a European tour in September, performing in Spain, France, Italy, Austria, and Germany.
He is also set to play gigs in Japan and Australia in 2024.
