IT has become one of the hottest tickets in the Glasgow calendar - and now GlasGLOW has proved so popular it is being extended by a week.

Organisers Itison have devised the new plan to meet high demands after smashing the 40,000 tickets sold mark last week.

Lengthening the show to run October 26 to November 13, tickets will be available from this Thursday at 7.30am at www.glasglow.com.

This year the popular Halloween event is a dinosaur-themed The Land That Time Forgot, taking place in the Botanic Gardens for the fifth time.

During a 60-minute journey visitors will come across dinosaurs, dig sites, volcanoes, poachers, giant spiders and much more as "jeopardy waits around every corner".
