FRECKFEST has a whole slew of upcoming shows and a star from the 80s and 90s is next to take centre stage.
The main focus is for now is the return of Martin Metcalfe and the Fornicators to the Harbour Arts Centre on Friday, May 12
Organisers expect to see will another sell-out show in a venue the band loved playing last year.
It’s been a quick 12 months since his last visit, and back then Martin played a stellar selection of Goodbye Mr Mackenzie material, stripped of the late 80s production and unnecessary bluster alongside a smattering of newer original material.
The Mackenzies have always had a healthy following on the west coast so we are expecting another full house for his return.
Future Freckfest shows include: June 16th – JJ Gilmour, HAC; August 11 - Hipsway, Grand Hall Kilmarnock; October 7 – James Yorkston/Kris Drever/Withered Hand, HAC; November 24 and 25 – Blue Rose Code, HAC. Plus more to be announced.
All tickets are on sale via ticketweb.co.uk or direct from the HAC.
