A PRESTWICK pub punter has been left overjoyed after meeting one of his Celtic heroes in the town.
Michael Mancini bumped into Fergus McCann in The Vintage earlier this month, and managed to snap a picture with the Hoops legend.
McCann acquired a 51 per cent controlling stake in the club for approximately £9 million in March 1994, when he stepped in with a last-minute investment to rescue them from near-bankruptcy and heavy debts.

Michael said: "When one of your heroes casually walks into your local pub in Prestwick on a Sunday night.
"Mr Fergus McCann - the man who saved Celtic Football Club. Thirty-one years a season ticket holder, this was a special moment."
