FREE highlight talks will continue to be held at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum throughout October.
The talks take place on Wednesdays in the Robertson Room between 2.30pm and 3.30pm and cover a variety of topics.

The first event will take place on October 8 with Joanna Kopaczyk-McPherson, Professor of Scots and English Philology at the University of Glasgow and Academic Officer of Oor Vyce, the grassroots campaign for the official recognition of Scots.
She considers whether or not the legislation achieves a major milestone that Scots language activists have been campaigning for over decades.
And on October 22, James Thomson, a former senior police office and author with official inks to Burns Clubs and the Robert Burns World Federation, presents Tam O' Shanter: The Story Of A Tale, based on his book which examines and explains that great epic poem.
Any unreserved places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis on the day.
