(Image: Newsquest) Ayrshire cycling legend Graeme Obree, pictured right, helped launched a helpline for people suffering depression at Auchincruive Agricultural college in December 2004. Olympic gold medallist Graeme had written about his own bouts of depression in his biography. He was pictured with project co-ordinators Ron Ellis and Tony McLaren.

(Image: Newsquest) Harry Potter fans David and Alan Kare, eight, and seven-year-old Connor McQueen, were first in the queue when Asda, Ayr brought the Knight Bus from the movies to town to promote the release of the Prisoner of Azkaban DVD.
