AN AYR art club welcomed a very special guest to its monthly meeting at St. Leonard's Church Hall.
Ayr & District Floral Art Club had floral artist and RHS Chelsea gold medal winner David Ryland give a demonstration at its September meet-up.
David has had many experiences in the flower arranging industry, and was even selected as a flower arranger for Prince Philip’s funeral.
During the meeting, he told a variety of stories that linked to the floral designs he arranged on stage, which also incorporated various textures and fabrics.
The club is aimed at people who have an interest in flowers and their history, watching someone design arrangements, learning new tips, or want to spend time with like-minded individuals.
Their next meeting will include a raffle at the end of the night, and take place at St. Leonard's Church Hall at 7.15pm on Thursday, October 10.
