An Ayr childminder has been given a glowing review after her service was branded ‘excellent’ across all categories.
The Care Inspectorate paid a surprise visit to Judith Brown Childminding in Doonfoot back in July to review her services.
They graded her work in the categories of setting, leadership, staff, and support, which all received the highest mark of six.
They came to this conclusion after speaking with the children, reviewing documents, observing the routine and speaking with the childminder.
Her service provides care to a maximum of six children at any one time under the age of 16, of whom no more than three are not yet attending primary school and of whom no more than one is under 12 months.
The inspector who made the visit stated all the children were happy, content and having fun, in a service that focused on outstandingly high-quality experiences and outcomes for children.
They also noted how the service was extremely well-established and very carefully planned to ensure children and their families were at the heart of all that was delivered.
Since the last inspection of the business there have been no complaints upheld.
