A MAN has been arrested in connection with a number of housebreakings across East and South Ayrshire.
Police confirmed that a 33-year-old was charged following three reported housebreakings, and a further four attempted break-ins, at properties across the two counties.
Following his arrest, the male was due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Wednesday, August 21.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection to three housebreakings and a further four attempted housebreakings within East and South Ayrshire.
"He is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Wednesday, August 21, 2024."
