An Ayr woman is celebrating a miraculous milestone birthday having reached the age of 105.
Jessie Baird was born on the Rozelle Estate in Alloway where her grandfather was head forester.
Jessie has lived in Ayr all of her 105 years and has three sons and a daughter, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
South Ayrshire Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick visited Jessie at her house in Ayr to present her with a bouquet of flowers and congratulate her on the milestone birthday.
