Temporary changes to household waste collections may come into force in South Ayrshire if strike action goes ahead.
Industrial action is set to take place in the region from August 14-21, with negotiations on pay unable to halt the proposed strike.
South Ayrshire Council has confirmed that if the industrial action proceeds, there will be no collections of domestic waste, special/bulky uplifts, or waste from commercial customers during that week.
A phased recommencement of services will begin from Thursday, August 22.
This will include collections of general waste, food waste, garden waste and commercial waste collections.
If your scheduled collection was affected by industrial action, put your bin out by 6am on Thursday, August 22.
Normal collections for metals, plastics and cartons, paper, card and cardboard, glass bottles and jars, and special or bulky uplifts will resume from Monday, September 2.
A spokesperson said: "We apologise in advance to residents and our commercial customers for any inconvenience caused by this industrial action."
