Ayr Burns Club's annual commemoration and dedication ceremony to mark the anniversary of the death of Robert Burns was held last weekend.
Provost Iain Campbell and Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick represented South Ayrshire Council at the event.
They attended the service at Ayr’s Auld Kirk, before visiting Burns Statue Square to lay a floral tribute and give a speech in Burns’ honour.
A reception lunch was then held in the Auld Kirk’s halls.
