A major retailer could be set to move into a vacant Prestwick shopfront.
Plans have been lodged by the Card Factory to install its signage at a site on the town's Main Street.
The card retailer is set to move into the former Love 2 Tan tanning salon, which was the subject of a separate planning application earlier this year for a restaurant.
The application submitted by Sava Estates was previously given the green light by council planners, but the new signage bid has thrown that plan into doubt.
Sava had sought permission for a change of use from a shop to a restaurant and planned to introduce a flue at the rear of the property.
