A full weekend of activities is taking place in Maidens to mark World Ocean Day.
The event is run by the Maidens Community Association, and aims to educate families and act as a call to arms for climate action and awareness.
The event runs on the weekend of June 8 and 9, with a host of activities planned including yoga, speakers, craft fair, music and much more.
All activities will take place on the grass near the harbour and bowling club.
There will be over 30 local artisan makers in the large marquee on the Sunday from 10am until 3pm.
From candles, dried flowers, cakes and interior decoration to plants, rum and lots more, make sure you head down to support and shop local.
The weekend will also see the launch of the Snorkel Trail for Ayrshire, and Adventure Carrick is running kayaking and paddling.
Local schools will also take time to learn even more about the ocean following the weekend.
For more information and the full timetable of activities, go to the 'Maidens Community Association' Facebook page.
