Plans have been lodged to upgrade facilities at Ayr's busy bus station.
Stagecoach West Scotland has applied to South Ayrshire Council for permission to make alterations to the building on the Sandgate.
This includes replacing external doors with windows, replacement allocations box, replacement windows and doors, re-painting external woodwork, steelwork and render, and new cladding zones for signage at the existing bus station.
Existing timber cladding will be repainted blue, and new Stagecoach signage will be installed on key parts of the building.
