The Lochgreen House Hotel & Spa in Troon has hailed an "inspiring" member of staff as she retires after 35 years with the business.

Linda Leckie has worked for Costley and Costley, which owns the hotel, for over three decades, first joining the business when she was 30.

A spokesperson for the business said that Lind "left a lasting impact on our company", and that her legacy would "continue to inspire us each day".

They added: "As you embark on this new chapter of your life, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for your dedication, hard work, and commitment to Costley and Costley over the past 35 years.

"Your journey with us, from your beginnings at Highgrove at the age of 30 to becoming one of the directors of the company, is truly remarkable and inspiring.

"Your leadership, passion, and unwavering loyalty have been instrumental in shaping the success and growth of our organization.

"Your contributions have not only left a lasting impact on our company but have also touched the lives of all those who have had the pleasure of working alongside you.
