Primary 5, 6 and 7 pupils at Dundonald Primary have recently mastered the art of indoor bowling thanks to lessons led by volunteers from the local bowling club.
Each Thursday, a dedicated team of volunteers visited the school to help the children to learn how to bowl, how to guard, how to keep the score and how to play strategically as a team.
A great time was had by everyone.
The indoor bowling project was rounded off with a prizegiving, with the top scoring bowler from P5, P6 and P7 receiving a trophy.
The children are now looking forward to lessons outdoors at Dundonald Bowling Green where they will have the opportunity to compete for the Clunie Cup.
The primary school staff and children are most grateful to Dundonald Bowling Club for all of their help and support.
