An Ayr man has raised more than £400 for the Scottish SPCA after abseiling down the Falkirk Wheel.
And John Murasev, 70, is already planning for his next fundraising adrenalin rush, which could be an abseil down the Northern Lights Tower in Aberdeen.
Official SSCPA fundraiser John has already abseiled down the Forth Bridge three times in a bid to raise cash for the animal charity.
He said: "I wish to thank everybody who kindly sponsored me for my recent Falkirk Wheel abseil on March 17.
"This sponsorship raised a fantastic £488, which shall now help the society look after all the animals which are in our care. Your help allows us to continue to be there for all animals always."
John, who now cares for rescue dog Jasper, was born in Ayr to a Scottish mum and an Estonian father, who came to Ayrshire during the Second World War.
He said: "I'm now looking looking forward to next year when I hope to be involved in another adrenalin rush event, this time being the Northern Lights Tower.
"I hope to once again raise another successful sponsorship."
