There will be changes to rail replacement buses between Ayr and Stranraer this weekend due to roadworks on the A77.
A full weekend road closure is in place on the trunk road near Cairnryan.
Bus replacement services will only operate as far as Girvan this weekend, when customers travelling to Stranraer will need to change and board a separate bus replacement.

This will travel between Stranraer and Girvan via Barrhill. This will result in extended journey times between Ayr and Stranraer.
ScotRail is urging customers to be aware of these longer travel times and plan ahead to make sure connections are made.
