A popular Ayr fish and chip shop has hailed its customers for their support after celebrating 12 years in the town.
Marcos, in Fort Street, opened its doors for the first time in 2012, serving freshly made food to its customers ever since.
The business has revealed that 2023 was its busiest yet, and is looking forward to more years of success ahead.
A spokesperson said: "12 years ago we opened our doors for the very first time, serving freshly made food for an affordable price.
"12 years later we’re still here, still offering freshly made food and value for money which our customers have come to expect from us.
"We are pleased to say each year we are going from strength to strength, and this last year has been our busiest ever on record.
"Lastly we would like to thank our amazing customers who make what we do possible, who make our passion for freshly made food a reality.
"Here’s to many more amazing years."
