Bright-minded pupils from Wellington School in Ayr have made it to the finals of a prestigious investment competition.

The senior team have made it to the finals of this year’s Growing Future Assets Competition, which encourages young women to consider a career in the world of investment management.

During the contest, the pupils must prove their ability to spot the next big investment prospect by researching, analysing, and pitching a company they think will be a lucrative long-term asset.

Afterwards, all the finalists will be invited for lunch at Edinburgh City Chambers, where they will announce the winners and award prizes to the different categories.
