Plans have been lodged for a new short-term holiday flat in Prestwick town centre.
An application has been submitted to South Ayrshire Council for a change of use at 34 Main Street.
A&D Prestwick is looking to turn former office space on the upper floor of the building into a short-term holiday let.
Access to the property will be from a main door located at street level. The property would contain five bedrooms, five bathrooms and one kitchen.
Planning documents state: "The property has become vacant within town centre as a result of less use of office space because of home working arrangements. Utilising the property for holiday let will encourage more footfall within the town centre and also provide much needed short-term accommodation within Prestwick and wider SAC markets."
