Police and coastguard joined forces for a training exercise in Ayr on Wednesday.
A dummy casualty was recovered from the River Ayr during the exercise, as the first responders trained and improved their skills.
A police spokesperson said: "On Wednesday evening our response & local policing officers collaborated with HM Coastguard for a training exercise.
