Girvan RNLI has hailed its supporters after smashing a £1,000 fundraising target for the lifeboat station.
The volunteer crew had been asking the public to raise the amount since January 2021, with a total of £1,150 now collected.
A spokesperson has thanked the public for its support, and has revealed a new year-round donation page has been created.
They said: "Without your generosity and continuous support we couldn't do what we do, we really couldn't.
"Lots of folk quite often call us heroes, however in our eyes it's all of you, our supporters and donators that are the real heroes.
"With that being said, a new page has been set up for our station by our fundraising department with no expiry date."
