A team at University Hospital Ayr has raised £2,700 for charities through in-house events over the past two years.
Domestic supervisors Amanda Holland and Sarah-Anne Stuart have organised raffles, bake sales and book sales among their colleagues and other staff members to raise the funds.
Ms Holland said: "Working in domestic services can be hard word and challenging at times.
"It is important to keep your team’s spirts up. Holding different events over the year is a great way of doing this, while raising money for worthwhile causes at the same time.
"Over the last two years, we have donated £600 to Whiteleys Retreat and £100 to Ronald McDonald House."
The team also held a Christmas party which raised £2,000 for the Ayrshire Baby Loss Support Group.
Ms Holland added: "All of these events have brought both our teams so much joy. Our teams get on really well and this gives them all something to look forward to."
