A one-way system will be implemented on a busy Girvan road for the next 18 months.
The temporary one-way operation will come into effect on Louise Drive from Thursday, February 1 and is expected to run until July 31 next year.
The one-way system will be in operation from the street's junction with Knockcushan Street southwards to its junction with Ailsa Street West.
A 'no waiting at any time' restriction will also be in place across the same 130-metre stretch on both sides of the road.
A similar restriction will also be imposed from no36 on Duncan Street eastwards for around 30 metres on both sides.
Louise Drive is in a busy area of the town with the quay and popular boating pond nearby, as well as many restaurants and businesses.
