Police in Ayrshire are appealing for the assistance of the public to trace 83-year-old James Barclay, known as Jim, who has been reported missing from Galston.
He was last seen in the Shield Road area around 7.30am on Saturday, January 20 and is believed to be driving a grey Toyota Yaris, registration SB18 SFZ.
Jim is described as being a white man, 5ft 8in tall, of medium build, with short grey hair and glasses. He is believed to be wearing a blue fleece and a black jacket.
Sergeant Stacey Maguire said: “Our enquiries to trace Jim are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen him to contact police.
“Around 12.40pm, we received a report that Jim’s car was in the Maybole area.
“Anyone who may have seen Jim, or who has any information on where he is, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1679 of 20 January, 2024.”
