A man has been taken to a hospital following a crash in South Ayrshire.
Emergency services were called to Hoggs Corner, in Maybole, just after midday on Thursday following a crash involving a car and a lorry.
Fire crews attended the scene alongside police and the driver of the car was taken to University Hospital Ayr for treatment.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called around 12.40pm on Thursday, January 18, to a report of a crash involving a car and a lorry on the B7045 at the junction with the A77, Hoggs Corner, Maybole.
"Emergency services attended and a man, the driver of the car, was taken to University Hospital Ayr for treatment."
