A popular Ayrshire eatery with four venues in the region is set for further expansion in 2024.
Tempura already has a restaurant and takeaway in Ayr, as well as takeaways in Kilmarnock and Prestwick.
However, owners Brandon Van Rensburg and Mark Blake, who started the business during the pandemic, announced on Sunday that they had placed bids on two more venues in the region.
They have also purchased the former Electric Bakery site in Prestwick, and will transform it into a new production kitchen.
A spokesperson said: "We are delighted to announce we will be taking over a production kitchen in Prestwick.
"This will become our tempura production and development kitchen along with our new head quarters.
"We have also now submitted offers for a further two properties, (one restaurant and one takeaway), both within Ayrshire.
"2024 we are coming for you."
