An Ayr road has been closed by police after a crash involving a pedestrian.
Castlehill Road, between Ashgrove Street and St Andrews Street, was closed at around midday today.
A police spokesperson said: “Due to a road crash involving a car and pedestrian, Castlehill Road, between Ashgrove St and St Andrews St, Ayr, is closed until further notice.
“Please avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.”
