A section of road near the A77 had been closed in both directions due to a crash earlier today.
The B7038 slip road between Ayr and Kilmarnock was closed due to a two-vehicle crash that police say happened at around 9.35am this morning.
The slip road proves access from the northbound carriageway of the A77, and to the southbound carriageway, for traffic to and from the south end of Kilmarnock, including Caprington, Riccarton and Shortlees.
Ayrshire Roads Alliance say the road has now reopened.
