Ayr will celebrate its Annual Viennese New Year Concert this January.
The Scottish Chamber Orchestra will come to Ayr Town Hall under the baton of the vibrant young Prague-born conductor Jiří Rožeň.
The programme includes a selection of musical confections from the rich musical flavours of Rožeň’s homeland, in the form of Dvořák’s dance-hall Prague Waltzes, to other pieces from Hungary and Germany.
A statement said: "Brilliant British soprano Jennifer France brings her silvery vocal sparkle to showpieces by Lehár and Zeller, as well as Richard Strauss’s touching love song Amor.
