South Ayrshire Women's Aid has thanked those who took part in the Reclaim the Night walk in Ayr on December 5.
The event was made to create awareness of violence against women and girls, and took off from Ayr Academy.
The charity said the support was "absolutely fantastic".
A Facebook post read: "Thank you to each and everyone who braved the cold last night and participated in Reclaim The Night walk well done!
"The support again this year was absolutely fantastic and certainly made some noise helping to promote a safer environment needed for women and girls to walk without fear through our streets.
