Ayr schoolboy Andrew Merry, 12, enjoyed his live radio debut in 2003 when he sang on the afternoon show hosted by Clyde 1 DJ Suzie McGuire.
Kyle Academy pupil Andrew had already raised thousands of pounds for Malcolm Sargent House in Prestwick by singing for his supper at their charity ball and producing a special fundraising CD.
